7 Singhs. One Mission. One City. This is The Wall Street Takeover. We rolled up to Wall Street on a Saturday at 5PM and while tourists were getting all their snaps in of the famous street, we fixed up our ties, pocket squares and chatted to one another. As some of you may have seen, I asked people to get in touch with me on instagram if they wanted to be a part of this shoot. I met some of these Singh’s for the first time and one of the best things about blogging is just that – meeting such great like-minded people on this journey.
As we all lined up for the first set of pictures, a crowd gathered…and continue to gather. We had so many camera’s out taking pictures of us, and others wanting to get in a picture with us. It was actually a surreal moment and more than anything it made me proud of who I am and what I represent. These are the moments that will always remain.
I wanted to create something powerful – something that sends a strong message – Singh’s are some of the most stylish people in the world, and for those who have Sikh friends will know they are kind natured, charismatic and come from a hard working community. Singh’s taking over Wall Street and rocking our style while hundreds of people stop and stare (and take a picture) was a special moment.
So here are some exclusive pictures from the shoot which I hope you all enjoy.
