It’s 12pm in New York and the city is well and truly alive. This city has it all. There is something for everyone here, and if you don’t find what you like, then try something new – you will be surprised with how many things you can get involved in. I’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg but there is so much on offer. From huge pizza slices, brunch and food from all over the world to museums, jazz bars and comedy clubs. This is a special place and everyone needs to come and enjoy the spoils of New York.
My first shoot in New York was always going to be an intriguing set. When we took the first few pictures, and had a look at them, something was obvious – New York is so photogenic. While you walk through the streets of this concrete jungle, you find yourself constantly reaching for your phone or camera to take a picture. There is a sense of grandeur, history and significance about the place. From looking up at some of the buildings that you see in the movies to actually living it on a daily basis is incredible. So shooting here for the year will be a great experience, and after having my first taste of it, I can’t wait to capture some of the most iconic parts of the city in the backdrop.
As I begin to settle down for the year in New York, I want to hear what you would like to see in some of the shoots from me. Comment below with your ideas – I look forward to seeing what you all come up with.
